I have noticed when I am grocery shopping, I am more aware of making mindful purchases. I am not buying extra produce that tends to spoil more quickly.

I am more aware of what is in the fridge, and amount of item left. That awareness helps me be more mindful of not purchasing items not yet in need.

I have shared meals on dates and with my grandkids. There often is enough for two people with one meal.

I found I am tossing produce the most. I find the bag ready to eat salads get slimy and brown more quickly than buying heads of lettuce or romaine. I will change what lettuce I purchase and the amount I purchase.
