I am really working at becoming aware of food waste. So much so, I've been feeding the critters. lol. They gotta eat too.

I found a bag of Flax Seed & Chia Seeds in the back of my cupboard. They still tasted okay so I mixed them together and have been adding them to my yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, and salads. :-).

What can you do to make sure you never shop hungry?

Make sure you eat before you go & drink and big glass of water. Also, chewing a piece of gum while shopping, helps!

I now realize PORTION SIZE is one of the reasons I'm a FLUFFY gal. LOL. Never have I ever just ate a 1/2 a can of soup. In fact, sometimes I add a sandwich. Especially with this Tomato soup. It goes so well with Grilled Cheese. On the other hand, at least I'm not wasting food! LOL

Portion size gets me too! Our culture is so visual where we need to see an empty place/bowl. That leads to a lot of overeating at times (for me at least!). Good job not wasting food tho!

What successes have you had in reviving limp produce? What can you do so that your produce doesn't go limp in the future?

I was vert hesitant. I finally gave in.

I swapped out my sour cream for Plain Greek Yogurt. I was pleasantly surprised!

I love this swap! I usually have Greek yogurt around and use it in place of heavy cream or sour cream.

Glad to hear it, I do not like sour cream so never use, but use lots of yogurt, never had anyone complain when I substitute and I often don't tell them, just keep that healthy secret to myself ;)

Have you noticed any trends in the types of food that you don't make in the right amount?

If I make something real good, my portion size is bigger. lol

Can't argue with that ;) I have found when we make a wonderful dish we eat 2-3 times more than we will eat for leftovers the next few days.
