    We have done something similar for a while now. Generally dairy products like yogurt or cheese. Currently yogurt and salad.

    Honestly how little food we really throw away. Most tend to be scraps such as peels. The amount of plastic thrown away is a bigger issue it seems.

    Uneaten meal portions. Smaller portion sizes or save leftovers for another meal.
