Genevieve Vavreck 7/31/2025 11:16 AMThe challenge starts TOMORROW! Have you selected your 5 daily actions and 5 one-time actions? Let us know what actions you selected.Selecting actions to work on during the challenge
Let’s take a look at how the actions are set up:
- Action title: This is the action
- Description: This tells you more about what you would commit to doing to complete the action. Some actions include a spot for you to add a quantity to tailor the action when you select it.
- Learn more: Hover over this button to see additional external resources related to the action.
- Select: Click this button to select (or deselect) an action. You can change your mind and choose different actions after the challenge starts, but you will lose any impacts made from deselected actions after the challenge starts.
- Daily or one-time action: This describes the frequency of the action. One-time actions are investments or changes you commit to making long-term, while daily actions are choices you make more often – it could be every day, every few days, or a few times during the challenge – to build habits.
- Challenge level: This is a difficulty rating of the action and is represented by the bars at the bottom of an action. Learner is easiest, Pro is in the middle, and Leader is most advanced.
How to choose your actions
You can select up to five daily actions and five one-time actions to work on during the challenge. Focus on actions that will make the most impact for you and your household. It's helpful to have a few smaller actions to focus on rather than become overwhelmed by trying to do too much.
Browse through the categories (Planning, Shopping, Cooking, Storage, Community, and Kids) to check off the actions you already take and reflect on which actions would be doable and impactful for your household.
Enjoy the ride!
We know that change can be both challenging and fun, and we encourage you to embrace your journey. Creating change is steady work, but simple, everyday actions made by many people can add up to big impacts and a better future.
