I feel really good about it today. I have started a compost in my apartment and know that I can find a place to bring it. I have neighbors that compost, so maybe we can take turns bringing each others. I am using older foods rather than throwing them away. And I shopped yesterday with a lot of pre-planning - deciding exactly what meals I am shopping for and when I will have them.

Perfect is too much for anyone. Trying is all anyone can ask for! Good Job!!

I have always used sight and smell as indicators.

I add more to garbage disposal. I freeze more fruit for smoothies. I do more stir fry with veges.

For my household, the hardest part is managing a six-adult home with everyone doing their own autonomous thing. I can't force others to adopt my values and choices in not wasting food and other items.
