REFLECTION QUESTIONPlanning Create a Weekly Meal PlanAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money? How has meal planning helped you avoid waste?
Leah Bruch 8/02/2024 1:23 PMThis is not surprising and I probably throw out more than the average person. since meal planning, I do not shop for the whole week, but rather I now buy for breakfast and lunch and make multiple trips to the grocery store so that I do not waste food. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPlanning Sign up for Fridge Check FridaysWhat have you found out since you started taking an inventory of your fridge before shopping?
Leah Bruch 8/02/2024 1:21 PMthat there are certain items that I buy because I think I should eat them, but I end up throwing them away. -
