    Make sure I have had a snack and something to drink prior to shopping. This is important, because I always overshop if I am hungry/thirsty

    I purchase what is on my list- and if there are two items that are similar, I consider the one that is on sale depending on brand

    my household has shrunk as far as number of people, so I am now getting used to buying smaller containers of food and dairy items, rather than them going bad or to waste

    I have started making lists, prior to shopping and sticking to the list. Therefore reducing what is initially brought into my home, and cutting down on waste.

    It is going well, I am in the process of paying closer attention to the overall purchases I make. I tend to over purchase fresh fruit and produce.

      I do the same thing, I try to freeze what I can - i.e. chop up veges and fruits.
