Planning
Keep a Food Inventory
I will take a fridge and pantry inventory to stay up to date with what I have at home before I go grocery shopping.
Cooking
Reimagine Leftovers
I will learn about how to repurpose my leftovers into new meals and then try it.
Shopping
Stick to Your Grocery List
I will only purchase the items on my grocery list and avoid impulse purchases.

Organize My Refrigerator
I will organize my refrigerator to maximize shelf life based on the temperature and humidity of different spots.

Properly Store Veggie Snacks
I will put carrots and celery in jars filled with water to keep them fresh, crisp, and easy to grab for up to a week. I will properly store 2 veggie snacks.

Nissa Knutson 8/05/2024 6:40 AMOff to a strong start! Last week did really well with sticking to grocery list and not over-buying. Also cleaned out fridge and re-organized so easy to see what needed to eat first and made use of all of our food by sticking to meals and using leftover meat/veggies in different ways - added to pasta, added to nachos for snacks. Heading out on a 5-day vacation so the next week will be interesting as I look for ways to incorporate these ideas into a road trip. Our home refrigerator is set up for those staying behind though.
