REFLECTION QUESTIONPlanning Sign up for Fridge Check FridaysWhat have you found out since you started taking an inventory of your fridge before shopping?
Sue Louiselle 8/09/2024 10:56 AMThat I don't end up inadvertently doubling up on what I already have. Plus, even though I like to keep a full freezer, I don't buy more frozen food than I have room for -

REFLECTION QUESTIONPlanning Track My Wasted FoodWhat did you find you are tossing the most? How can you change your habits to avoid wasting this food?
Sue Louiselle 8/01/2024 5:50 AMFresh produce, specifically salad kits. I've started buying the same ingredients separately as in the salad kits I buy. These seem to last longer in my fridge. -
Sue Louiselle 8/01/2024 5:44 AMI'm much more cognizant of how much food I'm not only buying, but also cooking. If I do have leftovers, I package them up and give them to my stepdad, who doesn't really cook much -- he gets a homemade meal with minimal effort. Plus, I have made a LOT of use of my foodsaver and freezer.
