When I have unwanted leftovers, partially opened food, or food that I'm not going to use (produce or pantry items that aren't eligible for food pantry donation), I will offer it to neighbors on Buy Nothing before disposing it.

Nicole Meehan 7/03/2024 5:40 AMUtilizing the City's curbside compost program the last few years has prompted me to notice my family's food waste and take action to reduce it. This challenge will provide me with some new tips and strategies for lessening the amount we waste and help inspire my kids to be more aware of this issue as well.
