    As I approach the end of my lease and start to look at the food I have left until then, I realize how helpful buying only what I need for my meal plans has cut down on the amount of food I might have to toss once I move. The weekly pantry inventory is my new best friend.

    Good! I think this challenge came at the perfect time for me as I've been attempting to balance out my food inventory & waste with the rising cost of groceries.

    I've tried the nightly themes but with my work schedule some days just didn't allow for the meals that I had planned out. I've recently been doing a weekly Specific Plan style and I love it! It gives me the freedom to choose exactly what I want to eat and when, while giving me the time to grocery shop based on what i already have at home.

    I've been much more conscious of the perishable snacks I purchase, and also focused on finding ways to use up the veggies/fruits I already have before purchasing more.
