Throwing away food is like throwing away money

My husband had half of a grilled cheese sandwich he decided that he didn’t want to finish the other day, so I included it as part of my lunch 😆

I think I will try a printed weekly meal plan so that the rest of my family has more of a visual instead of the current note in our phones. How do you meal plan for your family?

Plan your meals for the week to avoid overbuying and food spoiling. Make a weekly meal plan with all meals and snacks to use up ingredients.

Take 2 minute to wash and prep some raw produce to serve along side the regular meal. Sometime it's just a cut up apple or cucumber, but we eat more fruits and veg plus it isn't going bad in the fridge.

I purchased a ginormous head of cabbage from the farmers market this weekend, and when it became very obvious that I couldn’t use all of it in a timely manner, I brought it to work to share 😊
